About Anderson McNair General Contracting, Inc.

As president of Anderson McNair General Contracting, Inc., Brian is responsible for general management, sales, and client care throughout the entire building process. An Asheville native, he received his BS in business management from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. 

Brian’s construction career began in May 1986 when he was hired by his father’s construction company. In 1999, Brian obtained his general contracting licenses. Since then, he’s built hundreds of homes across Western North Carolina.

Brian is a believer in giving back to the community and helping where he can. He served six years on the board for Hearts with Hands Disaster Relief. He also partnered with WWNC 570 where he was the general contractor for the Spring Into Action project, donating a new, custom-built home to a family in need. He has donated countless hours to coaching youth sports and sponsoring youth league teams.

Brian currently lives in Candler with his wife and two kids.

David is the vice president and superintendent for Anderson McNair General Contracting, Inc. He’s in charge of day-to-day field operations, including job site management, trade partner relations, scheduling, and estimating. David currently carries multiple licenses, including general contracting, heavy highway, and public utility. 

David is a proficient craftsman and has many talents. We commonly refer to him as “the Jedi Master.”

He currently lives in Weaverville with his wife and daughter.

With more than 45 years of experience in sales and management, including 10 years in residential construction, Sam prides himself on delivering exceptional service and quality to our clients. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a business minor. He served in the military during the Vietnam War.

Sam and his wife have lived in Waynesville for the past 19 years and share their home with three dogs and a cat. They are the proud parents of four boys and have eight wonderful grandchildren.
